By creating an account and using the Valiant Alumni platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Valiant Alumni is a supportive recovery community. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. This includes but is not limited to: harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, sexually explicit content, content promoting substance abuse, spam, and any content that violates the safety or well-being of community members.
You are responsible for any content you post, including text, images, and messages. By posting content, you grant Valiant Alumni the right to display it within the platform. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice. Users who post objectionable content will have their accounts suspended or permanently removed.
If you encounter objectionable content or abusive behavior, you can report it using the report button available on posts, comments, and user profiles. You may also block any user, which will prevent them from seeing your content and you from seeing theirs. All reports are reviewed by administrators within 24 hours. Content found to be in violation will be removed and the offending user may be permanently banned.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms of Service, without prior notice. Users may delete their own account at any time from their profile page, which will permanently remove their data from the platform.
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at valiantalumni.com/privacy. We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of our community members, particularly given the sensitive nature of recovery.
The platform is free to use. Optional support subscriptions are voluntary donations to the Valiant Alumni Scholarship Fund. No features are locked behind payment. Merch store purchases are subject to standard return policies. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Valiant Alumni is a peer support community and does not provide medical, therapeutic, or professional treatment services. If you are in crisis, please contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 1-800-662-4357 (SAMHSA Helpline). The platform is provided as-is without warranties of any kind.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
